Marianne Farag, Inner-Peace Specialist
MY PHILOSOPHY
Personal peace, is a spring board from which other states such as wellbeing, and joy can take root and grow. Our individual inner-peace also has a ripple effect resulting in ever widening circles of the same. The more we nurture our inner-peace, the more effectively we can respond to whatever comes our way, enabling us to interact with our neighbours, our co-workers, our family, our friends, and others who cross our path in constructive and positive ways.
Far from being a passive state, inner-peace is powerful and active:
"Peace is not something you wish for; it is something you make, something you do, something you are and something you give away." (Source: Robert Fulghum)
MY FOCUS
I work with people who seek self-awareness, self-empowerment and joy in their personal and work life. A passion of mine is to contribute to greater peace in the workplace and to that end I began a Peace in the Workplace Project. With experience leading and teaching mindfulness and meditation; training in Applied Counselling, Reiki, and End-of Life Doubla Services; volunteering with non-profit boards; and a career in senior positions in the public sector, I draw on the disciplines of psychology, spirituality, leadership, change management, and performance outcomes, in carrying out my work.
